International Propaganda Museum

 Turns out San Rafael is home to the International Propaganda Museum.

A collection of propaganda that represents political art of more than 25 countries, including N. Korea, Cuba, Nazi Germany, Vietnam, Iran, and the Soviet Union. 

It's definitely worth a visit but check the opening days/hours.

The pieces on display were mostly designed by various governments, dictators, and special interests with specific political goals in mind. 

As you walk through the museum you go through 7 themes/ techniques/styles of propaganda.

The design and imagery is really interesting.
