Diego Rivera MoMA

Wonderful exhibition at SFMOMA.
The range of the pieces in the exhibit was extensive, from sketch drawings / templates for large murals to costume design for a play he wrote and directed. There were so many stunning artworks from the various stages of his life.

Rivera created sweeping murals  depicting Mexican history, world events and futuristic visions / social commentary.

So many beautiful pieces and the use of colour tones and light were spectacular.

A wonderful exhibition of a prolific artist.

In the gift store there were all sorts of things to tempt you, some with price tags that would make your eyes water and some a bit dubious - anyone for a Frida Kahlo paper doll and costume cutouts?

The permanent collection looked pretty incredible at a glance too.
