We left the fog of the city behind to have a walk in the glorious sunshine alongside Crystal Springs reservoir.
There were so many people out walking and cycling and enjoying being in nature.
The lake is fenced off from the public and creates a safe haven for wildlife as well as being a critical water source for the city and environs. We saw a deer with two young fawns just nibbling on bushes beside the trail on the other side of the fence - beautiful.
Back in tbe city we also visited twin peaks and admired the stunning views over the city. The temperature change from the trail walk was bracing - windy and fog was starting to come back in, brrr!
