We have really enjoyed staying in Segovia for three nights. Staying in the old town has been great - lovely hearing bells ringing the hour and quarter hours - we don't get that in One Tree Point 🙂
We will miss Hotel Cetina Palacio Alaya Bergenza - try saying that five times fast:)
We will be back on the road tomorrow so this morning we made the most of the buffet breakfast - we had to fortify ourselves for our last day on foot in Segovia.
We wandered through the back lanes in the Jewish quarter, following our noses and discovering all sorts of beautiful historic buildings.
The one below almost looks modern but it was built in the 15th century with the diamond shape decoration being both defensive and artistic. It now houses the Art & Design College which is very apt
We stumbled on the beautiful and peaceful Iglesia de San Juan de Los Caballeros just outside the city walls - wonderful!
For the chicas' back home the fashion of the day is lots of loose floaty dresses with vibrant color and wedgy espadrilles - they look great.
We've enjoyed the historic sculptures and also the odd modern one - we found the devil on the outside city walls - worth a zoom in.
