Walked from the top of Mt Tam down to Stinson Beach, another glorious hot day....probably too hot for walking in the sun but amazing scenic views as you descend to the beach.
Stinson Beach was grooving along..... cold beers at the Silver Dollar bar where a jazz duo were playing....before long a lady fell off her bar stool and almost took out the double base player...but she did manage t o keep a hold of her lap pooch. After a cold beer we made it to the beach....beautiful. We couldnt believe our luck...cruising along beyond the breakers were...a pod of whales and their we could see their water spouts...a-maze-ing....so close to shore, you could have swum out to them.
