Having a wonderful time in San Francisco. The weather has been amazing, hot, hot, hot every day. We've just been to Yosemite National Park ....its incredible...my wee camera just cant capture the scale and beauty. Stayed in a wee tent cabin on the valley floor and walked all day around the meadows, waterfalls and park trails.
Then we headed for the coast and sea breezes of Santa Cruz.
Forgot to mention the amazing, historic Russian fort, Fort Ross up the Sonoma coast. Incredible to think of people paddling kayaks all the way from Alaska all those year ago in search of fur, wood and food. What a great spot for a fort....sea close by, forest close by, fertile land.....amazingly well built fort, all dove tailed.
