Paros

 Beautiful day on Paros.

Left the phone and valuables in the room safe and just went out with a beach bag. So minimal photos today ☺️

We are staying one street back from the beach road so it's very peaceful and we have nice harbour views.

The garden has this amazing white trumpet flower that only opens at dusk - so pretty.

Had a lovely swim as it was 30 degrees today and the water was beautiful - will take a pic of the beach tomorrow. 

Met a young woman from South Korea traveling solo around the Greek Islands and we got chatting for a while - we've met quite  a few gutsy gals out there exploring solo.

Paros feels very busy compared to our last two previous stays here. There are many more rental car companies and now you can hire ATVs and beach buggy type vehicles.....spoils the usual serenity of the island me thinks. Today saw a bunch of young guys drinking and hooning about on their motorbikes, no helmets,  not a good look. 

Still  it is a lovely spot and we see many  Instagram wannabes posing and pouting and making the most of the gorgeous scenery - can't blame em really, it's such a pretty island.

Short and sweet today - relaxing swimming day. Even the street cats here are chilled out, they know they're onto a good thing :)
